This morning has me questioning if I'm a good mommy. I'm really tired in the mornings, but who isn't? I work at the studio 3 nights a week and the weekends. During the day, I stay home with Sarah while trying to start a business from home.
Amy is on vacation this week at the studio, which makes a lot of extra work for me during the hours I'm there and instead of leaving between 9 pm - 9:30 pm it's more like 10 pm - 10:30 pm. So a little extra shut eye in the morning is nice.
Well this morning, I'm laying in bed half awake while Sarah is playing in her room. Chris calls from work, so I go ahead and get up. I could smell what Sarah was doing in her room before I even opened the door. She had a bottle of finger nail polish! I don't even know where she found another bottle after the first incident with nail polish back in the fall. She painted the floor and Max. No big deal. But what makes me want to cry is when she painted her fitted sheet from her nursery set. I'm pretty sure it's headed for the garbage. I guess if we have another baby girl, I get to go shopping!
I know I'm a good mommy. I love her more than life itself.
The Before:
The After:
On a much lighter note, this morning Sarah was singing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". After the spider climbed up the water spout, she said 'Mommy where does the spider go when she gets to the top of the spout?'
I said, 'Doesn't the rain wash her down?'
She says, 'No she's going to see her mommy, daddy, brother, sister, and babies. She needs to baby sit.'
I'm really thankful for the cute, sweet moments that overshadow the rough start to this day.

Hopefully it was just the sheet. These can always be replaced. We all have these moments, trust me! Just keep smiling. I think you are amazing keeping up with all you do!
LOL. Every kid has a story of getting something all over and makeing a mess. Sounds like you got off easy. We had to call a carpet cleaner out to get the bottle of shampoo out of the carpet.
