This post is a collection of the cute sayings, bad dreams, & 'you won't belive what Sarah did!' The pictures have nothing to do with the post other than they are of her being silly.
The other night, she had a bad dream. Her pediatrician advised me to not ask her to tell me about a bad dream. It can turn into a fish story! So lately, she's been sleeping with a lamp on dim. A night light creates shadows which become ghosts in the middle of the night.
Tuesday morning she got in bed with me about 4:15 while Chris was getting ready for work. She hopped in & promptly when right back to sleep. As soon as she woke up, she told me she had a bad dream. I didn't even ask. I told her sorry & I loved her. She then said, 'Mommy you were made out of a dinosaur!' I apologized that she had a bad dream & told her that I would love her forever. Then she continued, 'Daddy was made out of a dinosaur too!' Just think of her saying this with an accusatory tone. I told her the same as before & left it at that. She couldn't let go. It grew into a fish story. Eventually the dogs & her imaginary dragons, Maziazi & Saraphina were part of the bad dream too!
(This is her idea of fixing her hair when I asked her to brush her hair. She wears my hair bands I use while washing my face all the time. Chris thinks she looks like Pocahantas.)
Today at the library, I was sitting on the floor putting together a puzzle with Sarah & a friend. I stood up and the back of my jeans were stuck to my legs. My calf to be exact. I tugged at my pant leg thinking it was just pinched up. Well it wasn't. It was stuck to my skin. I finally pulled the pant away from my skin. It was a lot like pulling off a huge band aid. When I rolled my pant leg up to see what had happened, I was suprised to find the dime size amount of Play Doh that I let Sarah play with yesterday! You may wonder why this little piece was so sticky. I, being the care free-it's just Play-Doh, mom that I am, let Sarah hold it under running water in the bathroom. Now I don't have to wonder where she stuck the Play Doh!
(There's no reason for the lip poked out. She may have thought I was upset when I grabbed the camera. We were on a timeline, but I will always have time to capture the moments of her growing up!)
She has the cutest little Sarah-isms. Such as:
Yesterday or any day in the past: Last Day
I want to hear your beat, i.e. heartbeat (I think she got that from the opening song for Arthur although it's not about a heartbeat.)
Mommy, you're my lady.
I don't want to go to preschool. I like the friends I've got already.
Daddy leaves his socks all over the house. That makes me angry! (She didn't get that from me considering our house is rarely picked up.)

Kayla has been having bad dreams as well. Some of them are pretty funny. I need to write them down as well.
