I'm running behind in my posting, but what's new? The third day of visiting with our family, we went shopping. Us ladies hit IKEA. It was a madhouse, but somehow it didn't seems too crowded. Anyway, I think Amanda really loved it & may have some good ideas now for book storage!
(We've always known Sarah was truly a monkey at heart. I think she finds at least one thing a day to hang from!)
After IKEA, it was over to Cabela's to meet up with the guys. What visit from our family would be complete without a trip to Cabela's? Anyway, this seemed to be Sarah's favorite store. Check out her wish list below!
She seemed like a natural in this boat. Chris & I both were raised with a fishing pole in our hands. It seems to be encoded in her DNA to want to be in a boat. I think this really excited her Paw Paw!
It also seems she has an interest in jungle exploration. Who knows? Maybe she's a monkey after all!
Considering wish list items #1 and #2 weren't happening anytime soon, she found herself the lucky owner of a new Barbie rod & reel. She loves it! Thank you Paw Paw & Grandma. I'm sure many memoires will be made fishing when she learns how to cast!
I know items #1 and #2 wouldn't have made her this happy!

How fun! I love family get togethers and all the fun that comes along with them! Looks like Sarah had a great time with her family.
