Christmas Morning

This Christmas season was magical.  Sarah began learning that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of baby Jesus.  She also caught on quickly to the concept of Santa Claus!  I thought for sure this would be the year that she woke us up early.  I was wrong.  Just like last year, we had to wake her up.  Any other day of the year, she is up bright & early.  I guess the excitement of Christmas Eve tuckered her out!

 This movie, Beauty & The Beast is all Iheard about at the end of summer/early fall.  She talked about how she wanted it for Christmas.  She forgot all about it.  I love the complete look of surprise on her face!

 I had to include this picture for memory/journaling keepsake.  When will I learn to look a little better for Christmas morning pics?  Anyway, Sarah made this gift for us at preschool.  She kept it a secret for at least two weeks.  Right after she played with her toys from Santa (a pillow pet & a Zhu Zhu pet) she insisted that I open our gift from her.  She is so sweet & thoughtful!

This was her homemade gift.  A beautiful Christmas ornament!
