Easter Sunday

Easter was really exciting this year.  It was later in the spring which helped for all the snow to be melted although it wasn't as warm as I would have preferred.
This year the tricky Easter Bunny hid Sarah's basket.  He hid it in her favorite hiding spot.  He'll have to be smarter next year to outsmart this one!

Sarah had been asking since the winter why she couldn't see God.  I tried to explain as best I could, but she just wasn't getting it.  One morning after Easter, we were on our way to preschool.  We passed a church with the crucifixes still on display.  She asked again about seeing God.  I asked her if she could feel Him in her heart.  She thought a moment & said no but she could feel me.  That made my whole week!  I asked her if she believed in the Easter Bunny even though she couldn't see him.  She said of course because he brought her a basket. I told her it was the same with God.  Just because she couldn't see Him she could see His work all around us.  That simple answer worked after all the months of her asking.  So just like those cute kids on TV when I was a kid "Thank You Easter Bunny!"

Don't you love the PJ combo?  A little Christmas thrown in with Easter!

 Trickier hiding spots this year!
