Today we made our first visit to the circus. I don't know who was more excited in the days leading up to today! She was very excited as we got ready and drove downtown. However she wasn't too excited when we parked. She said she was scared of the lions. Considering she didn't know what to expect, I guess I would be scared too.
Her fears quickly calmed once inside and the ample opportunities to spend money appeared. She had some spending money and dropped $22 on this spinny thing!
Waiting on the show to start. She didn't want to participate in the pre-show meet and greet, so we just watched from our seats.
After reading Water for Elephants I have a new appreciation for the circus and elephants.
