Our Flight to Alabama

Chris, Sarah, and I were able to fly home to celebrate Sarah's first birthday. We were excited that would save us so much more time than driving. Mother Nature had different plans for us. We boarded the plane on-time just to find out that all south bound flights were grounded due to bad weather south of Chicago. We sat on the runway for roughly 2 hours! Fortuantely there was an empty seat where we were seated. It was the only empty seat on the plane! Thankfully Sarah was a good baby and had fun climbing back and forth between Mommy & Daddy.

Once we were off the ground, Sarah was out for the count!
