60 Degrees in Feb. = Day at the Zoo!

It was actually 60 degrees last Tuesday! A small but welcomed taste of spring. So in an attempt to stave off cabin fever and enjoy the wonderful gift of a warm winter day, it was off to the zoo! We actually got up early too.

I didn't take many photos that day. She was so busy running her little legs off! She climbed on all the bars at each animal exhibit. Can you say monkey? As we entered the zoo, she yelled "anamul" (animal for those who don't speak toddler). I think she too knew the beauty of this warm winter day.

Kodi & Mazi came along with us. We didn't plan for the kids to both wear orange. Both Kodi & I have been asked if Sarah & Mazi are twins. Close enough. He's her best bud since she was 6 weeks old!

They loved the ape exhibit. I think we spent most of our time there. Not only does Sarah climb like a monkey, she sounds just like one too! A lady told me, 'Your daughter sounds just like a real monkey.' My reply was 'Yep, she's got talent!'

No fear! She wishes she could climb the whole way through.
