Sarah's 5th Birthday Party

Sarah celebrated turning 5 with a Hello Kitty party and 10 of her friends!  A sweet young lady at Target offered to bake the cupcakes for me.  I think they turned out cute.

I should have talked her into the number 5 candle instead of the individual candles.  I didn't realize the 5th cupcake wouldn't fit onto the top, but she had fun trying to blow them all out.

Look how embarrassed she was during the Happy Birthday song.  Here's a look back to her reaction at her 3rd birthday party.

Gotta love a big back yard with that many kids at a party!

This was our first pinata that wasn't a pull string.  It took forever to break and the kids got a little impatient trying.  Even the moms started hacking away.  Finally one kid knocked it to the ground and a mom put the heel of her shoe through it!  I'm not sure we'll do it again.

This was all the little girls at her party.  The boys were in the back yard being pirates!  I hate the picture is dark.  I did a poor job of photographing that day.  I guess all things considered with Chris in the hospital and me trying to do this by myself, everything went okay.

Lizzie and Sarah.  They have been friends since a few months old!
We ended the day by taking Chris some of the delicious cupcakes to the hospital.  I guess if your dad misses your birthday and the party, you just take some of the party to him.

Looks like a fun party. You're a machine for doing it by yourself!!!
