4th of July Parade

This morning, this little cutie & I went to the Hoffman Estates 4th of July Parade. 

She was bummed when I told her that Mazi wasn't coming along & she was confussed when I told her the people in the parade would throw "her" candy.  She of course took it literally and whinned about people taking her candy.

Thankfully this cute little family showed up.  Sarah ask me almost every day if she will make a new best friend.  After crying about Mazi not coming to the parade, she said 'maybe I'll make 2 new friends.'  Well her wish came true!  She played with them before and during the parade.  Hopefully we can play with them again soon!

 

Thankfully she enjoyed the parade.  Last year she was scared of the loud noises. 

Moments later this resulted in a boo boo as they both stumbled off the curb into the street.  Oh the boo boos!
