One of my favorite things about growing up in the South is college football gameday. There's just nothing like it. Thankfully Chris and I can still feel a part of the tradition since many Bama games are nationally televised.
Today's game will be a special one. I think it's the first time in regular season that the #1 and #2 teams have played one another. There's a lot of hype surrounding this game. Both of these teams are undefeated going into tonight's game. We've even heard people in Chicago talking about this game.
Chris and I will not get to experience this game live. This year his company is treating everyone to dinner and entertainment at Maggiano's. Sarah is going to a neighbor's house and we get to be kid free for an evening. It almost doesn't feel right not watching this game live. I guess that's one way of knowing that you are truly Southern born and Southern bred!
